I’ve a lot of different combinations and I can’t seem to get FFMPEG to use a fixed bitrate. It had a bitrate of 120mbs and needed to be 160mbs. The implemenation here is derived from reverse engineered work, which many claim to be inferior, but that has yet to actually be proven with proper data and comparison. Apple ProRes is a high quality intermediate codec used for insanely fast editing performance, at the cost of extreme CPU, Memory and Disk requirements compared to other codecs.
